Chicago Proper
Chicago moving companies do so well because Chicago is such a great place to live and to find work. People are always heading in, buying up apartment and condo space, and filling the CTA busses and the EL. This is a city that has so much going for it—who wouldn’t want to live there at some point in their lives?
Chicago deep dish… who hasn’t heard of it? A pizza that is thick, heavy, warming, and that sits so deep it touches the soul. The pizza matches its city perfectly, and while you’re eating out notice the restaurants available. Chicago has a thriving menu and during the day elegant establishments of every nationality have their doors open wide. Irish pubs, Mexican, Chinese, Thai, and many others with an unusually low number of fast food places fill out the streets.
If you’re more thirsty than hungry, don’t forget to check out a few of the bar streets that are available. Some get so busy after midnight that the city has to reroute the busses (take Clark Street out by Wrigley field for example). Chicago also has microbrews available that you would be hard pressed to match elsewhere.
The parks add another level of fame to the city. Grand Park, Millennium, Lincoln… Central Park has its fame, but at least in Chicago you can walk on the grass—and these places are beautiful, vast and well maintained. Millennium, in warm weather, has free concerts every week and some of the largest music festivals in the world take place in grand, all across its expanse from Navy pier to the Shed Aquarium. Don’t forget the Lincoln Park Zoo either, one of the largest free zoo’s in the world if not the largest!
